It is that time of year again – turkey and dressing, Christmas trees, and family gatherings. It’s the best!

You get to see that long-lost cousin that you only see once a year and reminisce about playing in the mud when you were little then listen to stories about the “good old days” from older generations. It’s also the time of year when everyone wants to relax in your hot tub. It is definitely not a bad thing since you get to show off what you spent so much money on, but you do need to make sure you are prepared.

Here are a few things that will help make this time of year a little less stressful:

Have extra towels on hand for those using the hot tub

Add an extra dose of sanitizer once everyone is done using it for the day

Keep extra sanitizing chemicals on hand

Try to keep food and drinks away from the spa to prevent spills

Keep the cover on and air valves closed when not in use to help maintain temperature and speed up recovery time

Everyone loves spending time with family and if you can do that while relaxing it makes it even better!

With just a little bit of preparation beforehand your hot tub can be the highlight of the holidays!
