How does it work?
1. Customer initiates checkout
A. Select Affirm at checkout on our site.B. You will be redirected to an Affirm modal or pop-up.C. Enter phone # to receive a text with a pin to create or sign into your account.
2. Account creation & Affirm application
A. Enter the following personally identifiable information to create your account:
- First & last name
- Phone number
- Email address
B. Enter the following to check for eligibility for an Affirm loan:
- Last 4 digits of SSN
- Date of birth
C. You will receive a confirmation screen.
3. Customer receives their loan terms
A. If approved, you will receive your loan terms & pick a payment plan.B. Confirm payment plan.C. Complete purchase.
4. Affirm & order confirmation
A. You will receive a confirmation of your Affirm purchase.B. You will also receive an order confirmation screen for your order.
