Product Description
SpaGuard’s Soft Soak Shock-Oxidizer enables spa owners to shock treat their spa water to effectively eliminate body oils, shampoos, soaps, sweat, and any other unwanted organic compounds. Soft Soak Shock-Oxidizer’s patented formula combines small particles together so they become big enough to be trapped by filter elements, which vastly improving water quality and clarity. Soft Soak Shock-Oxidizer should not be use with chlorine or bromine-based systems, and is not a substitute for spa sanitizers. This product comprises part of the SpaGuard’s Soft Soak System.
Product Dosage
Start Up:
3 fl oz per 150 gallons of water.
Routine Maintenance:
1 1/2 to 3 fl oz per 150 gallons of water per week.
Directions
Initial Start-Up:
Add this product third. The SoftSoak Sanitizer is added fourth.
- Add 3 oz. of SoftSoak Shock Oxidizer per 150 gallons of spa water directly to the spa.
- Wipe off any excess product that may have dripped down the side of the bottle with a clean damp cloth.
- Rinse cloth with water after wiping bottle.
- Circulate water continuously for approximately 30 minutes.
Weekly Maintenance:
- Add Shock Oxidizer according to spa usage at a rate of 1-1/2 to 3 oz. per 150 gallons of spa water weekly according to spa use rate.
- If your spa is not used three or more times per week, add 3 oz of SoftSoak Shock Oxidizer per 150 gallons of spa water weekly.
- Wipe off any excess product that may have dripped down the side of the bottle with a clean damp cloth.
- Rinse cloth with water after wiping bottle.
- Circulate water continuously for approximately 30 minutes.
- Test spa water once a week. Maintain the pH between 7.4-7.6, total alkalinity at 80-120 ppm and calcium hardness 200-300 ppm.
